Let’s admit it: most not-for-profits don’t think about the BC Society Act very often. Yet the Act sets the legal framework for every not-for-profit society incorporated in BC. It sets the boundaries for governance, financial affairs, amalgamation, and dissolution. Do you know if your organization is in compliance with the Society Act? How does this Act affect the ongoing work of your board and organization? This workshop will focus on understanding the BC Society Act and its impact on your organization’s success.
