  • Two presentations (four for large employers) by Vantage Point for your management and/or staff, pertaining to your choice of the following topics:
    — An overview and introduction to volunteering in the community, including how to engage, basic usage of govolunteer.ca and tips for successful volunteer experiences.
    — For employees interested in volunteering on a board of directors, we recommend a Board Basics orientation session. We can hold one on campus for the convenience of your employees.
  • Monthly skilled volunteering email that highlights volunteering opportunities appropriate for professionals in the community — great to distribute to your staff or post on your intranet.
  • Employee volunteer information in a format which can be easily distributed via email to employees or embedded in an existing employee communication piece. The information provides an overview of how employees can use govolunteer.ca to engage in community volunteering.
  • Team Volunteering list of current opportunities to connect you with more than 30 Lower Mainland not-for-profit organizations that have specific team volunteering opportunities.
  • Consulting discounts on consulting services Vantage Point offers businesses, including support for your employer-supported volunteer program and building strategic not-for-profit organization partnerships.
  • Two free registrations (four for large employers) in any of Vantage Point's well-regarded three-hour training workshops, and member discounts for all other registrations. One to two sessions per year focus on corporate social responsibility and target community relations professionals. These would also be excellent donations for your organization to make to existing not-for-profit partners.
  • Enhanced program access that gives your employees the first opportunity to participate in new and exciting programs focused on engaging specifically-skilled volunteers in the community, training community volunteers for heightened experiences and much, much more. When Vantage Point seeks program volunteers, your employees will enjoy the first opportunity to apply.
  • Program and new event sponsorship opportunities are offered to your organization for first right of refusal.
  • Recognition and link on the Vantage Point website.

*Contributors of more than $1,000 receive all listed benefits. For more information about sponsoring specific programs or events, please e-mail Lynda Gerty or contact at 604.637.8293.
