Are you interested in leadership? Want to identify the characteristics of great leaders, and develop those in yourself? For the last seven years, Brian Fraser, lead provocateur of Jazzthink, has been asking participants what qualities they see in the performance of a jazz group. This session will explore the answers to that question, bring those answers into dialogue with the best research and reflections on the practice of leadership, and provide you with an opportunity to craft your next steps in exercising inspiring leadership that builds the capacity of the voluntary sector.
Join us for a creative session that will inspire and provide practical skills that you can apply right away. Discover the ways in which we are all jazz musicians, how the acronomy REAL connects jazz and leadership, and how honing your mastery of your instrument will increase your positive influence as a leader.
