Miranda wears three hats at Vantage Point, she manages govolunteer.ca for our members, executes our marketing strategy and is the team lead for our annual BOSS conference. She grew up in Victoria, BC and moved to Vancouver in 2015. She has always had a passion for environmental issues, and so she attended the University of Victoria and completed a Double Major in Environmental Studies and Sociology, and a Minor in Business. Miranda has worked with a variety of organizations including the David Suzuki Foundation, Moss Street Community Market and Sharp Six. She brings as collaborative working style and loves developing solutions. Outside the office, Miranda dabbles in creative pursuits such as guitar music, blues fusion dance, improv theatre and illustration. She has enjoyed taking on volunteer opportunities such as being a part of CityHive’s 30Network on the issue of housing and participating in programs such as IMPACT! Youth Sustainability Training.
