Capacity Cohorts

Is your organization looking for a refresh? Capacity Cohorts are in-depth and long-term programs for not-for-profits looking to increase their organizational capacity. Organizations are guided through a detailed self-assessment and the creation of a capacity enhancement plan which prepares the organization to transition through key organizational development stages. Based on the lifecycles approach from the Nonprofit Lifecycles Institute, Capacity Cohorts support not-for-profits to take concrete steps toward developing stronger governance, management, administrative systems, financial resources, and programs.

All Capacity Cohorts:

  • Provide a new tool for holistic assessment and planning tailored to each participant's lifecycle
  • Provide common language about the capacity and elements of organizational health which become embedded in the community vocabulary
  • Build local expertise in lifecycle consulting and management
  • Strengthen key partners in support of mission sustainability

Upcoming Cohorts

Due to COVID19 the BESTI Program is rescheduled to launch June 2021. When available, new dates will be announced here and communicated through our City of Kelowna partner. Thank you!
