At Vantage Point we are advocates of skilled volunteering – which we call knowledge philanthropy. In the spirit of National Volunteer Week, we wanted to revisit what this concept means to us as an organization.
What is Knowledge Philanthropy?
Knowledge philanthropy is the intentional practice of engaging someone’s experience, skills or talent to create a better world – and it’s an incredible way to expand the capacity of not-for-profit work.

Vantage Point offers partial bursaries to our advanced labs to individuals or organizations who experience financial barriers in accessing professional development. Bursaries are made possible through generous support from our investors, sponsors, and earned revenue.
Submitting an application does not guarantee a bursary spot
Bursaries are available for advanced labs only (not one day workshops or custom/on-site sessions).
Bursaries cover up to 50% of the course fee. There are two bursaries available per lab offering.
