This workshop is targeted to board members who want to learn how to develop a culture of fund development within their organization.

Christoph Clodius

Christoph Clodius

A dedicated not for profit leader, Christoph brings extensive experience working in many areas of the field.  As a fundraiser he has led several development programs and worked in major gifts, and as a search consultant he has worked hands-on with Boards and charity leadership advising them on their needs.  Overall, Christoph brings over 17 years’ experience in not for profit fundraising and leadership roles. For the past seven and a half years with KCI, Christoph has led KCI’s western searches, working with over 80 executive search clients in a variety of sectors. Previously, Christoph spent nearly a dozen years in leadership roles with both post-secondary education and health/social service organizations.  At UBC, Christoph served for three years as the Director of Development at the Faculty of Forestry, and five years in major gifts fundraising roles for UBC’s Faculty of Arts and the Sauder School of Business.  Prior to UBC, Christoph was Director of Development at the BC Paraplegic Association, and his earlier professional experience includes working with the United Way of the Lower Mainland and with the Indian Affairs & Northern Development Department of the Government of Canada. Christoph holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Communications) from SFU and an M.Ed. (Sociology of Education) from UBC.  His professional education and activities include various AFP, CCAE, CASE, and CAGP conferences and courses.  As a volunteer, Christoph is on the AFP Vancouver Board, and has been engaged in the community through Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports, the Immigrant Services Society, and several roles at CJSF Radio, SFU’s campus-community radio station.
