Boards have a critical role to play in fund development, yet many board members don’t feel they have the experience or confidence to be effective in promoting their organization.

This workshop is targeted to board members who want to learn how to develop a culture of fund development within their organization.

Esther Jang

Esther Jang is a knowledge philanthropist at Vantage Point.

Esther Jang is an accomplished fundraising executive and consultant. Esther has worked for and consulted with many not for profits to guide their capital campaigns, develop fundraising plans and build planned giving legacy program. Currently, Esther is a Senior Consultant with Global Philanthropic, working with a national team of senior fundraising practitioners to build knowledge and raise and funds in the sector. In a voluntary capacity, she most recently completed her term as an executive member and Program Chair of Canadian Association of Gift Planners, Vancouver Chapter.In the past she has been the co-chair of the Fundraising Fundamentals Committee through the AFP Vancouver and within the broader community has been involved with Little Flower Academy and Vancouver College. Esther holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, a post-graduate certificate in International Development, UBC, as well as trained in Social Return on Investment (SROI) in the UK.Professionally, Esther obtained her CFRE designation in 2011.
