This workshop focuses on board members’ key responsibilities and moves boards out of operations and into the “big picture”.

Gordon Matchett

Gordon Matchett is a facilitator at Vantage Point

Gordon Matchett is a senior leader in with over 25 years’ experience in the not-for profit and corporate sectors, and has earned a Masters of Business Administration. He is currently the CEO of Take a Hike Youth at Risk Foundation, has held senior roles in several other charities and was a Financial Advisor at a major Canadian bank. As a volunteer, Gordon has worked mostly in human services on the front-lines, as a knowledge philanthropist and on boards of directors. Valuing adventure and personal growth, Gordon took several years off to travel (North America, Europe and South East Asia) and spent two years living at Yasodhara Ashram in the Kootenays. Gordon lives in Vancouver with his partner (Tim) and their boxer (Simon).
