Howie Outerbridge

M.Ed., Ed.D., CCC. Howie's background includes over 20 years of experience in learning, career exploration, and the development of people in a variety of settings including private industry, community-based career centres and post-secondary institutions.

Howie has held a variety of career-related management, instructor, and counselling positions at both the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Simon Fraser University (SFU). Howie is a sought-after public speaker and facilitator; his engaging presentation style, diverse work/life experiences, and his ability to pair humour with cutting edge research keeps him in demand.

During his career, he has helped counsel hundreds of people through a range of workplace issues. A committed life-long learner, Howie recently finished the Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching program at Royal Roads and is an Associate Certified Coach in good standing with the International Coaching Federation.
