Kathleen Lane was drawn to Vantage Point’s focus on lifting the capacity of not-for-profit organizations. As Learning Manager, she draws from her management experience, research in adult education and over 10 years experience creating and facilitating leadership programs – to develop, evaluate and continually improve Vantage Point’s programs. Since earning her MBA from UBC’s Sauder School of Business, Kathleen has provided organizational development consulting to a variety of not-for-profits and social enterprises. She is highly involved in the not-for-profit sector, serving on the boards of Aligned Collective and KidSport Squamish, and volunteering her time and expertise with the Howe Sound Biosphere Region Initiative. When she’s not working, you can generally find Kathleen deep in the mountains: hiking, rock climbing, skiing or training for her next ultramarathon. Ask Kathleen about opportunities to develop and improve Vantage Point’s programs or about the findings from her research project identifying the impact of teaching practice on student wellbeing.
