Our Reach: Beyond the Lower Mainland

You are a vital part of BC's not-for-profit sector and our goal is to facilitate a platform to have your voice heard.

Vantage Point is on the mission of lifting the capacity of BC's not-for-profit sector and part of our strategic goals is to see communities across the province benefit from our unique services in ways that build on the strengths and capacities in those communities. We are proud to have collaborated with various communities in recent years and are excited for the opportunities that lie ahead. Part of our current efforts include bringing the best learning opportunities to Prince George and the Central and Northern Vancouver Island area (CNVI).

By engaging not-for-profit leaders in learning opportunities on a broader scale, we are not only facilitating conversations between keen learners and experts but introducing more great ways to network with peers in the sector.

Below are a few ways we engage leaders in learning and networking.

Upcoming Learning Opportunities

Workshops in Prince George and CNVI will specify the location in the title.

Knowledge Philanthropy

Vantage Point coined the term "Knowledge Philanthropy" to refer to a skilled volunteer, without whom our work would not be possible. Knowledge Philanthropists are champions of the sector who volunteer their time, talent, and expertise to train not-for-profit leaders in many different areas including but not limited to fund development, human resources, coaching, evaluation, and roles and responsibilities.

If you or someone you know may be interested in the role of Knowledge Philanthropist to volunteer expertise and lift the capacity of BC's not-for-profit sector, please contact Joyce Lin, our Provincial Outreach Coordinator, at jlin@thevantagepoint.ca.
