Lisa is passionate about her community and gets energized connecting people to theirs. She was drawn to Vantage Point specifically for the opportunity to support the whole not for profit sector. Lisa brings diverse experience having worked in healthcare, ski industry, sales, and marketing. Most recently she found her groove in the not for profit world. Lisa is proud to be a board member of The Canadian Premature Babies Foundation for the past 6 years and is passionate about supporting families impacted by premature birth. In addition, she has volunteered extensively in her community, supporting sports and small community based initiatives. Lisa grew up in North Vancouver and completed a degree in Communications at Simon Fraser University. As a life long learner, she has taken countless courses at Capilano University, UBC Continuing Education, The Justice Institute, and BCIT. Lisa enjoys outdoor adventures including hiking, skiing, and camping, especially in the North Shore mountains. She finds balance with yoga…and couldn’t live without it. On her artsy side, Lisa sings in a classic rock vocal group and considers herself an armature writer of creative non-fiction. Above all else, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband Paul, two teenagers Ava and Luc, and their dog Gabe.
