As Vantage Point's Executive Director, Denise is responsible for leading and executing Vantage Point’s mission to totally transform the not-for-profit sector through building leadership capability. She has a significant record of achievement in the areas of Strategic Planning, Team Development, Business Development, Education and Client Relations. Before joining Vantage Point, Denise was Assistant Dean of the Hari B. Varshney Business Career Centre at the Sauder School of Business, UBC. There she provided leadership, vision, and strategic direction in a complex global environment of internal and external stakeholders and a diverse and demanding customer base of 4,000 higher education clients. She implemented many innovative programs and employer engagement strategies that increased student success and employer engagement. Denise also spent 10 years at Crystal Decisions/Business Objects and developed an education and consulting partner model that clarified revenue expectations, contracts and guidelines for engagement, increased partner loyalty and satisfaction, and increased revenues. Passionate about the value of creating positive change through education and strengthening organizations through strong leadership, Denise believes there are unlimited opportunities for growth. Denise is widely travelled and has lived and done business in many different countries. She enjoys cooking, travelling, and is a great resource if you are looking for the next good book to read.
